The New York Times full page ad calling for the Impeachment of George W. Bush is in today's paper (January 27, 2006). In the coming days there will be Congressional hearings which will examine the impeachable offenses of Bush & Co. The call for impeachment is now coming from all quarters. There is no doubt that Bush and his advisors are well aware that the impeachment demand is quickly becoming a widespread sentiment. They are afraid, and for good reason.

It just amazes me...
and I cry again as my sister shows me Louis' headstone in Arlington. Louis lies buried and gone due to the ignorance of this country. Sometimes it hits me harder than other days. Like when the news was proud to boast the 2K US soldiers that have died to date a few weeks ago. And I fear for all the brave souls that are there trying to make a right. And my heart and well wishes are with you all.
I vehemently despise the puppet that occupies this country's capital, however, I can't help but remember all of those red states on that frightful November night. My boyfriend told Michael Moore a few days later that I cried. Michael chuckled and said he didn't blame me, and that his death threats had slowed down since the election. This isn't just the fault of the brainless snivelling maggot that tries to read the teleprompter or the speech someone else wrote for him. It's the people that voted for him as well. The racist, bigot, ignorant, arrogant, misinformed, uneducated, ruthless, hypocritcial, and brainwashed people of this country that kill each and everyone one of our soldiers every day. Included are the poor Iraqi's- their death toll well over 30,000. How can the bible thumpers of this country say we can't perform stem cell research on already dead fetuses or harvest them from living cells, but it's ok to invade another man's country and kill every last one standing until all the people meet our American ways of doing things. Why can't women make a decision to not keep a child after a rape, or knowing she just can't take care of it, but these people can decide to ship off our young and our brave to die basically at our own hand? How is it any different? It's not. Not at all. Not any more different then the MacCarthy hearings where everyone was a Communist[instead of a terrorist] or when blacks weren't allowed any of whitey's civil rights... just as now gays and lesbians are persecuted & denied civil unions.
I'll never understand why I understood all this when I was younger, yet adults can't. How is it that a child can understand human dignity, but the masses want to strip it away from everyone that isn't the same as them. There's no excuse.

terrorists fixed my toilet today. i wish people wouldn't speak another language to their companion while in front of you... i'm so paranoid. i even forgot to check for a bomb before i used it( i had ta GO!  )- that's not good for homeland security, after all, if i can't pee, the terrorists have won! I'll call the NYS terrorism hotline in the morning. After all, we "...are the eyes and ears of law enforcement officials in our war against terrorism. If you see something suspicious, contact your local law enforcement or call the New York State Terrorism Tips Hotline (1-866-SAFE-NYS)." Yeah. I'll do that.
It's a good thing I have 7 of those magnets on my fridge, or i'd completely forget about the terrorists.
